It is my pleasure to introduce you to Lyallpur Khalsa College, one of the largest colleges in region. This century old educational institution of the country imparts education in five faculties namely Humanities, Sciences, Commerce, Computers Science & IT and Physiotherapy. The seventeen departments of the College offer more than 40 undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programs, ranging from traditional time tested courses to most modern professional programmes in IT and Biotechnology, in Regular, Evening and Capacity Enhancement modes. The institution is the only college in the region that offers M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Network and Protocol Design and also Masters in Tourism and Management.
Offering such a vast variety arising from the combination of tradition and modernity, the institution is dedicated to producing open minded, professionally equipped yet spiritually grounded students with an ability to withstand challenges of fast, competitive world, and these aims and objectives are endorsed by the vision and mission statements of the College. The name of Lyallpur Khalsa College has become synonymous with Sports. Aiming at the multifaceted development of its students, the college offers them 43 games to choose from. The commitment of the College to Sports has resulted in its winning the prestigious Teja Singh Samundari Trophy of Guru Nanak Dev University twelve times.
